BRAND IDENTITY

Good Kid

In 2021, I was given an opportunity to found the design practice and discipline at Good Kid, Comcast's In-House Agency. The first task I set out to do was build a lean, but award-winning team and our first project was branding the agency, which is pretty high on the list of dream projects.

The Good Kid name and vision comes from the VP Creative Director of the internal agency, Tim Flood. We wanted to create a new identity that was dynamic, energetic, mischievous, and positive to match his vision while keeping in mind the larger corporate brand ecosystem.

We leveraged the Comcast and NBC peacock rainbow colors, but only subtly, by brightening them for a fresh new approach that was rooted in the parent company.

We developed language to nod to similarities between kids and creatives without feeling too overt, and we wanted to include a lot of hand-drawn elements and illustrations so that everyone could have fun with the brand.

We implemented branding across every internal and external touchpoint including website, social, brand hub, offices, email design system, sticker packs, presentation templates, stationary, and naturally plenty of merch.
